Hackett elected Chair of Nominating Commission
Jack O. Hackett has been elected Chairman of the 20th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission.
This nine member panel is comprised of lawyers and non-lawyers. It sources, recruits and vets applicants for judicial office. A list is compiled and the most highly qualified applicants are submitted to the Governor who makes the final decision.
